Trailing Clouds of Glory

So here is our little Lily on 4/15. She is as charming as can be and I wish I could spend a little more time with her but between going back to work and limited visiting hours I see her every evening after work. It gives me something to look forward to. She is a little angel and I can't wait to be able to hold her and see her wrapped in one of the blankets that I made for her. She is doing quite well today and Morgan is at the hospital right now attempting to nurse her for the first time. She has been weaned down to about a 1/2 liter of oxygen. She will apparently need IV antibiotics until Sunday. We are keeping our fingers crossed. I think all our prayers are being answered. We hope to have her home with us soon.

Easter Weekend and Then Some

It has been a few interesting days has it not. I took work off for a few days to be help with everything and so I thought today would be a good day to update and post the events of Easter Weekend. Spending a few days at Primary Children's Hospital has brought it all into perspective for me. It is hard to see other families dealing with much greater trials than we are. It seems our miracle has occurred and I hope for many more miracles for the other families up there. Our little Lily has now been moved to IMC (my hospital) because she is doing so well that she can be cared for at IMC so that other sicker babies can be taken care of at Primary's

In all the fluff you can see a small pink bow. She is so adorable.
On our way home from PCMC yesterday the Explorer ran out of gas. We sat on 215 for awhile waiting for gas to arrive. Leah was tuckered out. When she finally woke up she was hysterical because it was getting a little toasty in the car.

The quilt I have been working on for a few weeks. I love how it turned out. I think it might have been one of the reasons that Morgan went into early labor because she spent all of Friday morning quilting on the long arm. Thanks Morgan for the sacrfice.

It has been an interesting few days. I am sure glad that we were able to get together as usual and looking forward to having some of you visit this coming weekend. You are all welcome to come and I will try and make room for everyone. There are always the geomats.

I look forward to Conference Weekend every 6 months. This weekend was great as well. Many of the talks touched me personally and I hope to remember the things that were shared. I actually can't wait for the Ensign to read the talks and remember all that was said. My commitment for sure will be to take my watch off when I go to the temple as Elder Scott recommended. I will try and work on a few other things as well. So many touching stories. I am so glad that I get to hear the Prophet's words and warnings. I wish the world would take heed as well.
Jenny and her girls came up for the weekend. The girls enjoyed being together. This was during the Saturday morning session. I think Tenny is on Facebook.

Sunday afternoon we had a nice dinner altogether and Jonas and Banner were a real big help in the kitchen. Banner made a lovely alfredo sauce.

I am not sure who this picture is of. I missed her head and can't quite tell. Miranda wanted to see Morgan pregnant. Here she is in all of her glory.

So Sunday afternoon ended up in the front yard. The weather was nice finally and I guess everyone wanted to get out and enjoy.
