Persuasion

I just happened across a remake that the BBC did of Persuasion. I thought it was quite good. A little different from the one that we know and I wish it had been a little bit longer but it explained some things better than the original and I really liked the two main characters. Capt. Wentworth was very handsome. I think that Leslie will agree with me. He has that look she likes(Pretty Boy). Anne Elliott was actually pretty too. I got on ebay and purchased it right after it was over. I am wondering if any of the rest of you got a chance to see it and if you did, what did you think? I am curious. I am glad to have another good movie to add to my collection. Good movies are hard to come by these days.

I was looking through my pictures and realized that the best ones were taken by Morgan or Leslie but I looked hard and found some that I had actually taken. So here goes.

Hanging at the Hospital

I spent the day at the hospital with Josh, Stacy, Maren and of course Esme. Her look has completely changed from yesterday. She is such a sweetheart and a good nurser.

ISN"T SHE LOVELY!

Snow Art

I went off to a Young Women's presidency meeting and I came back to snow sculture on my front lawn. This is what Noah and Andrew decided to do in their spare time on the Sabbath. I think they did a good job and also she appears to be anatomically correct. Although she is rather muscular. Jonas didn't like her face and wanted to knock her down.

I guess they were going with some ocean theme because here is the sea turtle. This isn't the best picture of him but it's what I took.

Lots of Happenings

She has finally arrived. It seems like we waited a long time. Esme Lynn, we are so glad you are here.

We picked up Noah last night at the airport. It was good to see him after 2 years. I dropped him off at his knew apartment(house) in Provo. He seems to have very nice roommates. Good Luck Noah with your upcoming semester of school. After I dropped Noah off I was driving up 9th east in Provo and was so tempted to just keep going right onto the MTC to see Whit. I would have got thrown out on my ear so I didn't attempt it. I did shed a tear though because it is hard to be that close and not be able to see someone.

I also taught my first Young Womens lesson. I think that it went quite well. I am glad to have it over with. I am thoroughly enjoying my calling and know it is what I need to be doing right now.

First Week of 2008

I have been a little lame lately and let the blog lapse because I didn' t have any new pictures to post. We had a great New Years get together at Josh and Stacy's. We were small in number but big on food and fun. It has been hard to get back into the swing of things but I guess getting back on schedule is always a good thing. I have followed Josh's example and signed up at Bali's spa and fitness. I actually got a free membership because of Josh. I hope to be very motivated and focused on a healthy 2008. I have to give my first lesson to all of the young women on Sunday so hopefully that will go well. Noah flies in on Saturday evening so I will be picking him up at the airport and then getting him down to Provo sometime on Sunday. I have really been enjoying Whit's letters. It is amazing to see and hear the evolution of a missionary. I am anxiously working on the new baby's quilt. I hope to have it done by the time she is born. I will then post pictures. I am excited to see what this next week brings my way.
